Hi! My name is John Knapko (pronounced "Nap-ko") and I am a professionally trained voice over actor/voice talent living in Bradenton, FL (near Sarasota) with my wife, and our bulldog. I've been told my whole life that I have an upbeat, casual, humorous side, with a touch of storyteller, which is always available in a moments notice. And don’t get me started on my wild character voices side! My mind is jam packed with all sorts of characters (the voices in my head) such as mobsters, villains, video game type characters, silly guys, southern & country stereotypes, young kids, wizards, scary game bosses, and lots more.
I’m at my best when I’m talking to my mic in my recording booth. Since my booth is where the magic comes alive, you will get my finest voice work while delivering a spectacular, professional, and articulate voice over for your project!

Other than being an experienced Voice Actor, I have a BFA in Computer Animation where I later realized the character designing process, numerous critique sessions, acting classes, and thesis were all extremely helpful in my voice over career as well!
When I do find time to escape my recording booth, I enjoy hiking in our Florida wetlands areas, watching NFL football, playing video games, tinkering with old hot rods, roughhousing with our bulldog and sometimes just sitting outside with a glass of wine, watching the world and gaining inspiration :)
